Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Graduate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Unit at Saint Francis Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions.
  • Participate in the 12-month Nurse Residency Program, designed to expand your knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of a Registered Nurse.
  • Develop effective decision-making skills and provide clinical nursing leadership when administering care.
  • Incorporate research-based evidence into practice and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
  • Projected to graduate (or already graduated) from an accredited College/University and/or have less than 12 months of RN experience.
  • Possess a valid Connecticut RN license before start of program.
