Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized solutions.
• Conduct tax interviews and prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
• Provide tax planning and audit support to clients to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional products and services to clients to drive business growth.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to provide expert guidance to clients.

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
• Experience completing individual tax returns and providing tax planning and audit support.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients in person and virtually.
• Comfort working with virtual tools such as video conferencing and chat.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
