Position Overview and Qualifications
The New Graduate Nurse Training Program at Doctors Hospital of Augusta is designed to equip you with the essential tools for success in a clinical setting. You will receive specialized training in a focused area, participate in monthly educational workshops, engage in preceptorship training, and receive mentorship from experienced leaders. As a Nurse Resident, you will provide patient-centered care and advocate for patients and their families.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating patient conditions and communicating changes
- Executing prescribed procedures and treatments
- Administering medications and observing patient reactions
- Delivering patient education and support
Qualifications for This Role:
- Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status
- No prior experience required
- Willingness to travel for training purposes
