Position Overview and Qualifications

The New Graduate Nurse Training Program at Doctors Hospital of Augusta is designed to equip you with the essential tools for success in a clinical setting. You will receive specialized training in a focused area, participate in monthly educational workshops, engage in preceptorship training, and receive mentorship from experienced leaders. As a Nurse Resident, you will provide patient-centered care and advocate for patients and their families.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluating patient conditions and communicating changes
  • Executing prescribed procedures and treatments
  • Administering medications and observing patient reactions
  • Delivering patient education and support

Qualifications for This Role:

  • Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status
  • No prior experience required
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes
