Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifepoint Rehabilitation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and achieve their full potential. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing specialized treatment plans, communicating patient progress, and documenting patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal functional outcomes
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and abilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
