Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Lids. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, controlling expenses, and supervising associates to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate Sales
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to drive sales growth and meet or exceed company objectives.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and minimize loss.
  • Control Expenses
    • Protect company assets and manage store inventory accurately.
    • Assist in preparing store schedules and managing wage control.
    • Perform proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Supervise Associates
    • Recruit, train, and develop store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
    • Encourage associates to comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Perform work of subordinates as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience.
  • Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
  • Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
