Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and complex computed tomography (CT) procedures to ensure accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and special procedures, including sterile technique and patient preparation.
  • Provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members regarding imaging procedures and results.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to radiation safety standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification in computed tomography (CT) and radiography (R).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
