Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at CompoSecure. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and sanitized, including bathrooms, lunch/break rooms, and common areas.
  • Trash and Recycling Management: Empty trash receptacles and maintain recycling programs to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment and report any issues to management.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and maintain levels of cleaning supplies and paper products.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the facilities team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a janitorial or facilities maintenance role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of mechanical or motorized cleaning equipment, high school graduate preferred, task-oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload, enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, self-motivated, creative, and innovative.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 70 lbs, sustain physical work for 8+ hours per day, including standing, reaching, pulling, sight, walking, bending, climbing, and crouching.
Work Environment
  • Office Environment: Moderate noise level.
  • Shop Environment: Noise levels may require protective ear-coverings, exposure to grease, oil, and water, and occasional external weather conditions.
