We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and repairing wood components, installing plywood deck protection, and performing other related tasks.

• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate and repair wood components.
• Fabricate doors, ladders, cabinets, crates, and GRP handrails.
• Install plywood deck protection and protective coverings.
• Mill wooden blocks for ships in dry-dock.
• Modify and install false deck panels.

• High school or equivalent education certificate.
• Minimum of two years experience in carpentry, with three to five years preferred.
• Basic rough and finish carpentry skills, including framing and cabinet making.
• Knowledge of shop machinery and hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate high-reaching equipment.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, on board ships, and on any shift.

The successful candidate will be exposed to airborne dust, toxic chemicals, fumes, odors, gases, various climates and temperatures, and low ventilation conditions.
