About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center, a leading provider of healthcare services in the nation.

As a Vascular Sonographer, you will play a critical role in performing non-invasive ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat vascular diseases. Your expertise will be essential in recognizing sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures to optimize image quality and spectral waveform
  • Analyze sonographic findings to complete comprehensive exams and provide data to physicians for diagnosis
  • Initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination and according to established laboratory policy and procedure
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing Program
  • Strong knowledge of vascular sonography principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
