Avera Sister James Care Center is a leading healthcare provider seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join its team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients and ensuring their rehabilitation and recovery.

Job Summary

The Speech Pathologist at Avera Sister James Care Center provides care and treatment of assigned patients/students/residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluation/Screening: assessing patient needs/deficits/strengths and formulating appropriate treatment plans
  • Documentation: creating and reviewing/revising documentation while following reimbursement guidelines
  • Treatment Skills: administering and performing therapeutic interventions with patients
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program
  • Current licensure/certification as a Speech Pathologist in the state of South Dakota
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $30.25 to $45.75 per hour, dependent on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes opportunities for career growth and professional development.
