Job Title: MRI Technologist

Coast Medical Service is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside in Rockford, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating MRI equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for MRI exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and disposing of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiologic Sciences.
  • 1-2 years of experience in MRI imaging or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
