Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing member purchases, pulling merchandise from a pick list, and utilizing a handheld scanner device to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Utilize a handheld scanner device to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise
  • Build boxes, shrink wrap packages, and move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area
  • Communicate problems with inventory and/or equipment and communicate expired or short-dated items included on the pick list
  • Work with the team to have merchandise pulled from the reserve area, when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment
  • Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous order pulling experience preferred
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred
  • Previous RF scanner experience preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces
  • May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance
  • Usually in a comfortable environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is starting from $16.00.
