Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and dynamic Bartender with outstanding interpersonal abilities to craft traditional cocktails and innovative drinks for our patrons. The Bartender will warmly welcome guests, understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and prepare and serve beverages and food.

Bartending roles provide team members with the chance to thrive in a lively, collaborative, game day environment while ensuring our guests receive exceptional service.

Bartending positions are available on a part-time basis, with flexible hours and scheduling options, making it ideal for students or individuals with other commitments. Opportunities for advancement within the team are always available for the right candidate.

  • At least 18 years of age or the minimum legal age to serve alcohol.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with state regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the workplace.
  • Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and handling cash transactions.
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, along with familiarity with standard drink recipes.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, up to 10 hours when necessary.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Effectively communicate with guests.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring a quality guest experience.
  • Gather information regarding specials and side work from a manager at the beginning of each shift.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of company bar standards and apply them to manage the bar efficiently.
  • Collaborate with all team members.
  • Maintain ongoing side work throughout the shift and complete closing tasks as assigned by management.
  • Work with others to ensure all areas are consistently clean and stocked to our standards.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standard recipes.
  • Learn the names of and recognize our regular customers.
  • Process guest payments, including credit card transactions and making change when necessary.
  • Wash and sanitize glassware.
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an organized and appealing manner to support efficient drink preparation and promote beverages.
  • Assist in restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies, with the ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Adhere to uniform guidelines.
  • Memorize floor charts, table numbers, and service steps.
  • Possess a working knowledge of common bar drinks and trends.
  • Exhibit friendliness, approachability, and strong communication skills.
  • Stay organized and think quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain composure under pressure.
  • Be an enthusiastic and persuasive salesperson.
  • Demonstrate customer sensitivity and possess a keen sense of timing.
  • Take pride in personal appearance and show dedication to the role.
  • Exhibit integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment.
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their drinks, food, and service, responding to additional requests as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge Required:

Guest relations, bar standards, knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine, POS operation, side work responsibilities, drink recipes, mixology, menu knowledge, and local and state laws related to bartending and alcohol awareness, teamwork.
