Job Description

Job Title: Armed Vault Custodian

Job Summary:

Loomis, a leading provider of cash management services, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Armed Vault Custodian to join our team. As an Armed Vault Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our cash vaults and ensuring the smooth operation of our cash management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the authenticity of cash shipments and deposits
  • Count and record cash and coin transactions
  • Load and unload cash and coin from vaults and storage areas
  • Operate cash handling equipment and machinery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of cash transactions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the security and integrity of cash vaults

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk between vaults and storage areas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Valid firearms permit or ability to obtain one
