Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a reputable hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations as needed
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in ICU nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama
  • ACLS and BLS certification
  • Experience with Meditech EMR system
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
