Vincennes University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESL Instructor to join our team in Washington, IN. As an ESL Instructor, you will be responsible for providing academic instruction to adults and youth enrolled in adult education programming.

• Teaching and Instruction: Develop and implement instructional activities based on individual learner education levels, assess student educational levels using standardized tests and informal inventories, and evaluate student skill, needs, abilities, and goals.
• Student Support: Monitor student progress and retention, maintain student records and information in student files and online database, and provide frequent contact with students to assist with their in-class and distance learning activities.
• Program Promotion: Promote program purpose and mission to potential students and community, business, and post-secondary partners.
• Administrative Tasks: Meet deadlines for submitting reports/surveys and replies to supervisors' emails in a timely manner, and maintain inventory of classroom materials and supplies.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related discipline.
• Experience: Demonstrated successful classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with others, proficiency in computer skills and programs, and ability to work with diverse socioeconomic populations who may possess significant barriers to educational completion.
