Job Title: Pediatric Home Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Home Care Nurse to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Pediatric Home Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Home Care Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of pediatric patients in their homes. This includes administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess the physical, emotional, and social needs of pediatric patients and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures as ordered by the physician
  • Provide education to patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and other health-related topics
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience preferred
