Senior Hematologist

The University of Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified classical hematologist to join our team as a Tenured Professor or Associate Professor. As a key member of our Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation, you will assume a leadership role within the Classical Hematology Section and contribute to the development of our research program.

• Lead the Classical Hematology Section and oversee the development of research programs
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical care of classical hematology patients
• Teach hematology-oncology fellows, residents, medical students, graduate students, and advanced care providers
• Participate in research and clinical trials
• Develop and mentor students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers in research and education

• M.D., MD/PhD, D.O. or equivalent with Board Eligibility or Certification in Hematology
• Demonstrated excellence in patient care and medical education
• Strong leadership and academic skills
• Tenure, tenure-equivalent, or tenure-eligible per institutional criteria
• Ability to receive work authorization in the United States
