We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine physician to join our team at the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing department, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of family medicine.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive family medicine services to patients in our Janesville clinic, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. This position will also involve clinical teaching and academic responsibilities, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including routine check-ups, acute care, and chronic disease management
- Participate in clinical teaching and academic activities, including teaching medical students and residents
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of family medicine
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Wisconsin medical licensure required prior to start date
- Certification by or eligible for certification by American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP)
- Successful completion of a fully accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
