About the Job

We are seeking a skilled CDL-A truck driver to join our team at TransForce Inc. as a Regional Route Driver. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from one location to another
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight limits
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Load and unload cargo, using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • At least 6 months of over-the-road experience
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the most recent 3-year driving period
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
