As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin and MVVM architecture, while occasionally collaborating with a global team. This position involves working closely with teams across time zones, requiring flexibility for occasional meetings outside of regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a core business Android application that connects to and displays data from IoT devices.
  • Work with Kotlin and MVVM architecture to create robust, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including teams based in Korea, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the application.
  • Participate in occasional meetings outside of normal business hours to accommodate global team schedules.
  • Optimize the app for performance, focusing on delivering high-quality user experiences.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Android development for Senior Engineers (or 3-4 years for Junior Engineers).
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and experience working with MVVM architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Bluetooth and Bluetooth technology (required for Senior candidates).
  • Experience with RxJava and Dagger.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous job titles such as Android Developer or Mobile App Developer (focused on Android).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with C++ or Java in Android development.
  • Familiarity with working on applications that interact with IoT devices.
