Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Recreation Activities Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operations of recreational facilities, assisting patrons with payments, rentals, and ensuring cleanliness within the facility. This role also involves participation in citywide special events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and address any equipment issues, incidents, or injuries occurring during shifts.
  • Maintain visibility and availability to assist patrons effectively.
  • Process payments and manage transactions.
  • Handle the opening and closing procedures of the facility.
  • Assist patrons with cage rentals and related inquiries.
  • Complete financial reports and cash handling tasks.
  • Sanitize equipment after use to ensure safety and hygiene.
  • Welcome visitors and manage incoming communications.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to all patrons.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to organize, plan, and lead groups of individuals.
  • Competence in writing reports and evaluations.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Skill in dealing tactfully with staff and the public.

Education and Experience:
