Specialist Meat Processor

Job Overview: As a key member of our team, you will provide support to all points of the department by cross-training for all functions in the department. This includes operating Cartoners to ensure a continuous flow of product, as well as metal detector and weight verification. You will also be responsible for setting up and operating cartoning equipment, maintaining and troubleshooting potential problems.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and storing all inbound materials, including bulk flour, cartons, packaging, and ingredients, as needed for production.
• Operating Case Packing Equipment, setting up and operating equipment, and maintaining and troubleshooting potential problems.
• Lifting +50 lbs, weighing ingredients, directing issue ingredients, starting and stopping batches on the computer, and performing required checks and recording on paperwork.
• Performing all tasks in a safe and efficient manner, keeping the work area clean and orderly, and keeping any records or statistical charts required.
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND WRITE IN ENGLISH.
• MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE A PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST.
