This role involves working closely with the Property Manager and Head of Maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of our residential units.

The Apartment Repair Specialist will handle work orders and perform essential maintenance tasks. This includes executing preventive maintenance and addressing repairs across various systems and facilities. The position requires the use of multiple trade skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely completion of work and repair orders
  • Assessing the time and materials needed for repairs
  • Conducting routine preventive maintenance
  • Managing inventory of materials and supplies
  • Supervising external contractors when necessary
  • Preparing building reports for inspections
  • Adhering to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Performing daily repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Reviewing work orders and estimating required resources
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, and HVAC systems
  • Inspecting new installations for compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintaining lighting systems, including cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs

Qualifications:
