Job Description:
Nondestructive Testing Quality Assurance Specialist

Conducts NDT inspections on welds and performs a variety of quality control assessments on products, materials, components, and parts throughout different stages of the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality and reliability standards. Develops Quality Assurance Workbooks and Test and Inspection Plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trained and certified in Nondestructive Testing methods including Visual, Liquid Penetrant, and Magnetic Particle Inspection.
  • Executes Quality Assurance Surveillance on production installations and oversees Quality Assurance Workbooks.
  • Collaborates closely with management to guarantee compliance with ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items.
  • Engages in special projects as necessary.
  • May require professional, technical, or company certifications based on job responsibilities.

Some travel may be necessary once fully qualified.

High School Diploma/GED

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is approximately $23.00. However, this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
