Position Overview

As an Electrical Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems. You will directly supervise a team of 8-10 employees within the Electrical Department, ensuring that all operations align with company policies and applicable regulations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining electrical equipment for both surface and underground operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule, assign, and supervise the work of electrical shop personnel.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and prepare tasks for incoming crews according to the electrical plan.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety.
  • Provide technical guidance to optimize production quality.
  • Maintain all high-voltage systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations regarding underground equipment.
  • Develop work schedules, equipment usage plans, and prioritize electrical expenditures.
  • Foster a safe working environment through diligent housekeeping and workplace inspections.
  • Uphold safe work conditions and adherence to operational policies and MSHA regulations.
  • Manage budgetary guidelines and assist in the preparation of capital and operational budgets.
  • Complete necessary daily checks and reports as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as necessary.
