About the Role

As a Perioperative Registered Nurse at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to established protocols and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current WA State RN license.
  • One (1) or more years recent Operating Room (scrub and or circulate) RN experience is strongly preferred.
  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
  • Other certifications may be required for specialty areas. CNOR- preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS preferred.
  • With continuing education opportunities and in-services, you will enjoy working in a supportive work culture.
