Job Summary:
Collin College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor to teach courses in engaging and innovative ways that reflect a commitment to the college's core values and knowledge of the teaching field. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree from an accredited institution and academic preparation in the teaching field to include eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the discipline to be taught.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
  • Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Academic preparation in teaching field to include eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the discipline to be taught.
  • Teaching experience is desired.

Working Conditions:
The position is part-time and requires the ability to work on weekends and evenings. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
