Job DescriptionJob Title: Server

Summary: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a positive dining experience, ensuring prompt and attentive service, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare the dining area for service by setting tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Take orders and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to customer needs and concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area by cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for customers.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth service and address any issues or concerns.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
