Part-time Kinesiology Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified part-time instructor to teach Kinesiology courses at Palomar College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in kinesiology and be able to effectively communicate with students. This is a part-time, non-tenure track position.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Kinesiology courses as assigned by the department chair
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
  • Masters degree in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, or a related field
  • Experience teaching Kinesiology courses
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse student populations
Working Conditions

Part-time faculty members receive supervision from the Division Dean and direction from the Department Chair. The successful candidate will be required to complete a live scan/fingerprinting, official transcript(s), TB risk assessment, and employment verification(s). Other pre-employment requirements may be required depending on the position.
