Job Summary

The CT Technologist plays a vital role in the Radiology Department, responsible for performing a variety of duties related to computed tomography imaging. This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and reports to the Team Leader, CT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diversified duties in the CT section, including operating imaging equipment and ensuring high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging technology.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or Diploma from an accredited school of Radiology.
  • Current license by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT registration or pending CT registration within 12 months.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • One to three years of experience as a CT Tech preferred.
Work Environment

This position is based at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, 30 Locust Street, Northampton, MA 01060.
