Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages students to develop an appreciation for the arts;
  • Motivate students to unleash their creativity, refine their skills, and broaden their knowledge of art, design, and art history;
  • Collaborate with fellow Visual Arts Educators to design an exceptional arts curriculum and foster a school environment that values artistic expression and showcases student achievements;
  • Encourage a culture of self-expression through inquiry-based teaching, promoting critical thinking about artistic concepts;

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Visual, Fine, or Studio Arts (e.g., Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Ceramics) or Art Education;
  • A solid academic foundation;
  • An art portfolio that effectively showcases your artistic abilities and commitment to education;
  • Experience in comprehensive art and art history instruction;
  • Aptitude for setting high expectations for yourself and your students;
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative educational setting.
