Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy team is dedicated to delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including the use of computer software and cash registers.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail or healthcare environment.
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Good math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
