Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with appointments, procedures, and patient care.
- Prepare patients for surgery and minor procedures, and assist with surgical and diagnostic tasks.
- Obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and note any changes in patient condition.
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples, and care for medical equipment.
- Provide high-quality client communication and updates on patient care.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and vacation shifts.
- Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling.
- Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Competitive hourly rate of $16.
