Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN to join our team as a Cardiac Catheterization Specialist. This is a per diem opportunity for a local contract position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement plans of care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Perform and facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Set up and provide equipment and supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certifications, demonstrating your commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology, allowing you to provide accurate and effective care.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods, ensuring you can meet the physical demands of this role.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Epic and other relevant systems.
  • Passionate about patient care, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and outcomes.
  • Minimum of two years of RN Cath Lab experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Active unencumbered RN Illinois state license, ensuring you meet the necessary regulatory requirements.
  • One year of Epic experience, with a strong understanding of the system's capabilities and limitations.
