About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at DSJ Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and prevent failures.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and testing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food processing industries.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in mechanical maintenance involving pumps, gearboxes, and belts, as well as electrical systems maintenance, particularly with 480V distribution systems, motors, and starters.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Industrial PLC Control systems (hardware and programming) at 24v & 4-20 mA, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and proficiency with MS Office.
