We are currently in search of a skilled leader to oversee our state-of-the-art Tasting Room and manage our Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) sales initiatives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to operate autonomously, possess a fervor for wine, and exhibit outstanding customer service capabilities.

Key responsibilities include supervising daily tasting room operations, organizing exclusive events, and crafting strategies to enhance guest experiences while expanding our wine club membership.

This role necessitates a methodical approach to sales and inventory oversight, along with a dedication to maintaining the integrity of our brand. A background in hospitality, coupled with familiarity in the wine sector, is highly advantageous.

This position provides the chance to thrive in one of the premier wine regions and to play a pivotal role in our company's growth by driving DTC sales.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage and engage in daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring that service excellence is consistently achieved.
Welcome guests to the tasting room and facilitate wine tasting experiences.
Formulate and execute strategies to boost DTC sales, including wine club subscriptions and online transactions.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the winery's offerings and effectively convey the brand narrative to visitors.

Implement outreach and networking strategies to enhance traffic (both in-person and online), increase visitor numbers, and establish strategic partnerships to elevate DTC revenue.


Website Management:
Collaborate with ownership to update content; Monitor site traffic; Ensure a vibrant digital presence.
Create and manage social media content alongside ownership.
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations concerning alcohol sales and service.
Handle P&L, daily/monthly financial summaries, inventory replenishment, database management, and sales order processing.
Serve as the primary contact for tracking wine shipments.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the wine industry.
Experience with luxury brands is preferred.
Proficiency in English is required.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
Strong computer skills are essential.
Must be capable of lifting 50lbs (equivalent to a case of wine).
