About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will perform basic patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal care, and reporting abnormal findings to nursing staff. You will work closely with our experienced nursing team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient care activities as delegated by RNs, including vital sign monitoring, blood glucose measurements, and recording intake/output
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
- Maintain patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Acute care patient experience preferred
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- AHA Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
