About the Role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team in Pasadena, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the electrical engineering field.
  • Preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and designs.
  • Assisting in reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses.
  • Preparing drawings, specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
  • Providing input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 0-3 years of related work experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Professional Engineering registration in California within five years.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic engineering knowledge in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation typically associated with engineering design.
