POSITION SUMMARY
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Prepare housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and transport it to designated areas. Access guest rooms following established protocols to ensure vacancy prior to entry. Replace guest amenities and supplies within rooms. Change out soiled linens and towels with fresh items. Make beds and neatly arrange towels. Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Dispose of trash, used linens, and room service items. Verify that all appliances are present and functional within the room. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; ensure proper storage of flammable materials.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests with genuine appreciation.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Collaborate with team members to achieve common objectives. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance.
Ability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience:
No prior work experience required.
Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience necessary.
