Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Addus HomeCare. As a LVN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care and services to patients in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
  • Assist physicians and registered nurses in the performance of specific procedures and treatments.
  • Administer medications, IVs, and treatments, observing aseptic techniques.
  • Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and changes, reporting to the appropriate professional.
  • Assist with patient rehabilitation and promote a cooperative effort among personnel.
Requirements
  • Minimum of six (6) months of recent work experience in home care.
  • Current licensure in your state of employment.
  • Satisfactory references.
  • Satisfactory completion of Agency-LPN/LVN Qualifying Exam.
  • Proof of satisfactory completion of an approved pharmacology course.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, or access to reliable transportation.
  • Current TB, Physical, and Clean background check.
