Job Summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Handle, package, and dispose of trash, recyclable materials, and hazardous wastes or chemicals, including operating trash compactors.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Maintenance: Inspect and clean PPE, including gloves, respirators, and safety glasses, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning break rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and office areas.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits of waste collection containers to ensure they are properly labeled, stored, and transported to disposal areas.
  • Respirator Fit Testing: Perform respirator fit testing for employees as required.
  • Quality Systems: Comply with current Quality Systems requirements and follow Excell Lean Manufacturing procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic reading, writing, and problem-solving skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; experience with personal computers for basic word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit for continuous standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
