Key Responsibilities- Resident Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessing their needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to promote their health and well-being.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Resident Care Director, community team members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance resident care and services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sunrise Senior Living's policies and procedures.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing, with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a long-term care, home health, or hospital setting.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care; ability to work effectively in a team environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
