Taro Pharmaceuticals Inc is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to support the global supply chain needs of our organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining purchase orders, resolving inventory-related issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Purchase Order Management: Create and maintain purchase orders in SAP for finished goods and packaging materials, ensuring compliance with supply agreements and timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies caused by EDI, ASN, receiving, or other reasons, and perform monthly inventory reconciliations with contract manufacturers.
- Supplier Management: Communicate and resolve PO problems with suppliers, including late delivery, minimum order quantities, and damages.
- Collaboration and Communication: Attend and participate in weekly update meetings with contract manufacturers, internal cross-functional meetings, and complete all assigned trainings.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- Experience: Two or more years of demonstrated procurement buying experience, with SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, project management skills, and experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a self-starter mentality.
