  • Diagnoses and repairs control systems, demonstrating proficiency with various electronic or digital control systems, and possesses the capability to test and modify programs.
  • Offers training to clients on the operation of their specific control systems, providing necessary documentation for training as required by contractual obligations.
  • Collaborates with the client's mechanical service provider to assist in equipment diagnostics when necessary.
  • Engages in a structured learning path and conducts thorough self-study (including reading, research, and practice) to enhance and maintain technical expertise in the company's product offerings. Completes certifications as mandated by the company.
  • Addresses increasingly complex system challenges by troubleshooting systems and guiding others in problem resolution. Works with subcontractors and other trades as needed to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Submits all required documentation punctually, including timesheets, expense reports, work order postings, on-site documentation, and project status updates, in accordance with company policies.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the HVAC Controls Industry or related low voltage systems.
  • Must possess a valid and current Driver's License and be insurable by the company's insurance provider.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the workweek, including air travel, overnight stays, and unplanned travel.
  • Able to climb ladders or operate lift equipment exceeding 8 feet and capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Technical School training in HVAC.
  • Experience managing a diverse range of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge across multiple disciplines.
  • Field experience with Automated Logic Controls installation and operation, as well as the ability to navigate third-party control systems and integrations.
  • Experience with third-party integrations (BACnet, Modbus, and Lon).
  • Familiarity with Automated Logic software, including WebCTRL, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, and EIKON LogicBuilder.
  • Ability to create, download, and troubleshoot complex HVAC system logic using WebCTRL and related software functionalities.
  • Strong capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with clients.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, including wireless technology design and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical blueprints.
  • Proficient in computer and networking skills to maintain laptops and mobile devices, with experience in troubleshooting Ethernet and ARCnet communications.
  • Solid background in operating and controlling mechanical equipment and their associated control sequences.
