Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Maintain a safe and organized unit environment.
    • 1.1 Report maintenance issues promptly and ensure follow-up until resolution is confirmed.
  • 2. Exhibit strong observational skills to identify and communicate patient needs effectively.
    • 2.1 Assist registered nurses in various tasks as directed.
  • 3. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
    • 3.1 Transport patients and necessary supplies in accordance with established protocols.
  • 4. Demonstrate accountability in daily responsibilities.
    • 4.1 Adapt to patient care needs as required.
  • 5. Execute non-therapeutic tasks under the supervision of medical professionals.
    • 5.1 Manage the receipt of medications from the pharmacy via the pneumatic tube system.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care setting is preferred.

Special Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.

Physical Demands: The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting, with the ability to handle weights of up to 50 pounds or more. Vision capabilities must include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.

Additional Information:
Work hours consist of four 8-hour shifts, with options for day or evening schedules. Cleaning or patient care experience is advantageous.
