**Heavy Equipment Technician Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek in Kernersville, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components of garbage trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components of garbage trucks.
  • Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Inspections: Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours.

Pay: $28-$30 per hour. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts. Multiple positions available. Referrals welcome.
