About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take radiologic films to provide quality images to physicians for diagnosis of medical problems.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, selecting exposure factors accurately.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor patient during procedure and report abnormal activity, ensuring radiation safety procedures and guidelines are followed.
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS, ensuring correct lead markers and patient data/history.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
