Job Title: Diagnostic Grossing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Grossing Technician to work as a Traveling Pathology Assistant in the medical industry.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is between $39.20 and $56.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:
  • Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify the histology supervisor/manager, technical supervisor, or director.
  • Perform troubleshooting when necessary and have the ability to exercise independent judgment, if required.
  • Coordinate and monitor workflow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Meet all requirements for non-pathologist performing gross tissue examinations SOP and 1988 CLIA CFR 493, 1489.
  • Current state licensure.
