Caregiver in Knights Landing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team at Senior Helpers of Sacramento/Placer. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our senior clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care and support to seniors in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks, ensuring our clients receive the nutrition they need.
• Engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being, such as exercise, games, and conversation.
• Maintain open communication with clients, their families, and our staff to ensure seamless care.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
